Week 4 Starts and Ends at the Zoo, with one major difference

Saturday Oct 26
Another trip to the Children's Park and Zoo

Sunday Oct 27
Found some yummy fried chicken at the FryPan followed by our favorite ice cream cooler at the conveinece store. My favortite is hazelnut, Dan's favortie is cappachino and Evan's Melon.

Monday Oct 28
We visited Insadong Street to do some toursity shopping, maybe more window shopping. But most importantly we found ice cream and donuts. Really you can never have too many.

Wednesday Oct 30
We found out we would most likely take custody on Friday (a littler earlier than we had anticipated) so thought we better do everything we need to get done now because chances are we will be in total survival mode starting Friday.

We went back to Insadong to actual make purchases. We had Elleigh's name stamp created while Evan flirted with all the ladies in the shop.

facetiming with cousins requires our batman costume with a little camo on top.
Ev thought these statues were so fun.

We opted not to purchase Mocha a hanbok, or Dan some Korean Won boxers.  ??? really?

Thursday Oct 31 Halloween
Becasue we don't get enough stares as it is we let Evan wear his halloween Superman costume (we brought batman also).

We visited the Seoul Science Museum, Evan was on the hunt for Dinosaurs.

Friday, November 1st, (First day of National Adoption Month) CUSTODY DAY!

Last photo as a family of three (pardon the selfie)

First photo of our family of four, with our extra special foster omma, Mrs. Lee

Made it back to the apartment, I think we were all pretty overwhelmed. Mrs. Lee sent with her all her favorite toys and all the items we had sent in care packages, this was incredible!

We visited our local playground and the kids loved it (at least no one was crying yet). The sibling riveralry had already began!

Victory, sleep. Exhaustion overwhelmed us all but i still needed to purchase a local phone number in order to skype Korean Air (i am pretty sure i ended up talking to someone in India from a Rochester, MN number in Seoul, South Korea)and to top off the lengthy phone call I'm pretty sure I said "thank you" in Arabic to end the call, because Arabic happens to my default foreign language. but airfare moved up a WHOLE week. PRAISE JESUS!!!

Saturday November 2nd
there is a lot of forced hand holding, Elleigh needs to hold Ev's hand all the time and really there is no way to get a good photo of these two, someone is ALWAYS moving. (moms- do not judge the hair, remember "survival mode" this is what you get in survival mode)

Back to the Children's Park and Zoo (because why not?)
This kid lives to feed animals.  loves this llama

Why not let the llama eat off your shoulder.  Dan cut up bags and bags of potatoes for our trips to the zoo.

First family photo of our family of four, and no we can get her out of the stroller, unless you want a complete meltdown.
